Description
Philadelphia Pennsylvania is commonly referred to as the city of brotherly love. Therefore its no surprise to find tourists surrounding Love Sculpture in John F. Kennedy Plaza just to get their picture taken next to it. Other tourist attractions include the liberty bell, boathouse row, the art museum and the Rocky Statue featured in the third movie. Even the steps to the museum are seen as a tourist attraction, with many people running up the steps every day, just like Rocky.
The downtown skyline and overall cityscape can be seen from a number of different angles. The best panoramic views are taken from Benjamin Franklin Parkway, over the Schuylkill river from the south or straight across the Delaware. Night views are spectacular from all three locations with city lights shinning bright. The Schuylkill view shows the 2000 foot plus walking path that travels over the river allowing spectacular views of the city for lunchtime and weekend walkers as well as bicyclists.
Philadelphia PA is a cultural mecca with not only the art museum but also the Rodin Museum as well. It has the largest collection of Rodin art outside of France. From art to food Philadelphia is also well known for the Philly cheesesteak the same way that Chicago is known for Chicago style pizza!
Philadelphia is also home to four professional sports franchises. The NFL Eagles, MLB Phillies, NBA 76ers and NHL Flyers.
The photo seen here is for sale as well as many other day, night, color and black and white images in traditional 4x6 shape as well as panorama. Simply search my gallery section to see them in full. Thanks for looking!
