Indianapolis is home to the Colts and Pacers as well as the self titled Indianapolis 500 which is run every year at the brickyard. The city boasts a downtown canal that is a great place to walk or rent paddle boats to blow off some steam. The cityscape and overall skyline can be seen from two great vantage points. One of them is from alongside the Indiana State Museum and the other is along the White River which also happens to be a state park complete with riverside walking path. The path system will lead you to the Indianapolis Zoo which is conveniently located at the edge of Downtown Indy.

Indianapolis is also home to the HGTV show Good Bones.
