Description
The Terminal Tower in Cleveland Ohio was built in the 1920's and dedicated on June 28th 1930 it has 52 floors with a total height os 771 feet. Located in the heart of Downtown Cleveland Ohio it is as Iconic of a building as any city has. Due in large part to it's being the fourth largest building in the world at the time of it's dedication, with only New York having any buildings that were taller. Secondly, it remained the tallest Cleveland Building for over 60 years until Key Tower was finished in the 1990's. No Cleveland photo is complete without it's presence!!!
The downtown Cleveland Ohio city skyline and overall cityscape consists of the Terminal Tower and Key Tower from any angle. Depending on where it is shot from you may see the historical Westside market, rock and roll hall of fame, playhouse square or either of the stadiums that are used for the browns and indians respectively.
East Fourth and the arcade are two other historic sites as well as public square and can be accessed off Euclid avenue. Situated on the shores of lake erie, Clevelands lakefront has plenty of traffic from fishing boats to great lakes ships. The Cuyahoga River is named from an indian word meaning crooked river. A name that has been adopted by a local brewery. Besides the browns and tribe this town also is home to the NBA world champion cavaliers. It also has the Jack casino and monsters hockey. Found in the northern part of the buckeye state it has extremely cold winters with plenty of snow, especially in the snow belt.
